Green Card Renewals
Our attorneys have extensive experience with green card applications and can assist you with the step-by-step process of renewing your green card.
Permanent resident cards, also known as “green cards”, are usually valid for 10 years and renewable indefinitely. If you have a green card which has expired or will expire within the next 6 months and you would like to renew it, you must file an Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card.
If your green card is valid for 2 years only, you are a conditional resident. In this case, you must file a Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence during the 90-day period before your conditional green card expires. If approved, you can obtain a new Permanent Resident Card that is valid for 10 years.
